Hello. This is Mackenzie Oh, project manager of Korea Embedded Software Industries Council, Seoul, Korea. I’m very pleased to present our organization to you for cooperation to recruit international participants to The World Embedded Software Contest 2009.
Established in 2003, KESIC as the only private organization in the Embedded Software Industry of Korea has been conducting various kinds of business such as establishment of policy and basis platform, development of human resources, support of marketing and promotional activities for KESIC members, etc. to advance science, engineering, and technology in embedded software development in Korea.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the World Embedded Software Contest, we would like to invite you to The World Embedded Software Contest 2009 which will be held in Seoul, Korea on November 18, 2009. The World Embedded Software Contest 2009 under the auspices of Korean Government is an annual contest that selects excellent original works on embedded S/W and award prizes to them since 2003. The purpose of this contest is to encourage creative and outstanding ideas related to embedded software and to foster excellent workforces. Despite its short history, 4,500 persons on 1,200 teams participated in the six times.
In this 7th contest, we add the international track newly. We expect that this contest would contribute to development of embedded software. Also we believe this contest exerts a favorable influence on embedded software developers and industries.
